MISSION

Ompractice is an online meditation platform aimed to bring wellness at the touch of your fingertips.

Tired, stressed, anxious, or in pain? Whether it be through yoga, meditation, back care, or pelvic mobility, the cost of studio practice and physical therapy could prevent one from seeking the care they need. Ompractice bridges this gap by bringing hundreds of live classes to the user, with dozens of personalized instructors to choose from.

WEBSITE REDESIGN

During our latest design sprint, Ompractice rallied behind a project called The Next 500 with a goal of obtaining 500 new users within the span of 30 days.

 

In the following month, our team dedicated two days every week to implement rapid, low-fidelity solutions after each design sprint - one of which was a complete redesign of our website through our agile process.

ANALYSIS

After speaking with dozens of users and stakeholders alike, qualitative data showed Ompractice's website needed refinement in information hierarchy, typography, text overload, and visual polish. Most importantly, we needed to move our brand identity away from online yoga classes and into health-tech:

1. One consistent typeface

2. Simplified text
3. UX flow and information hierarchy
4. Design system colors
5. Stylized iconography and illustrations

I also had the honor of conceptualizing our company pitch deck, which was primary source of information used in business conferences, power point presentations, and events/summits.

DESIGN SYSTEM

Ompractice was in dire need of a design system prior to my arrival. As I was already in the process of homogenizing their product and branding, part of my responsibilities entailed creating a unified design system.

VIDEO LIBRARY

The Video Library was one of many new features added to our website. I worked closely with developers and engineers to bring this new experience to valued customers.

With my skillset as an artist, I created digital assets and interactive elements for the purposes of creating a visual library with GIFs, stylized illustrations, and animations.
